11+ Maths Tutor in Callington

If your child is sitting the 11+, I can help them get ready for the maths in the Cornwall and Devon grammar tests.

We work on the maths, but just as much on pace and on not panicking when a question looks unfamiliar.

I plan each session around whatever your child is stuck on rather than working through a scheme from the front. For more able pupils, that means harder work to stretch them.

About me

I've taught for over 25 years in schools across London and Cornwall, including Alternative Provision, and I've held leadership roles. I have a B.Ed in Mathematics from South Bank University (1999) and the NPQH, the national qualification for headteachers. I'm Enhanced DBS checked and fully insured.

Sessions

11+ preparation is £45 an hour. Sessions are one-to-one, in person or online, with flexible daytime slots. There's a discount for sessions at my location or for regular block bookings.
