GCSE Maths and Adult Resits in Callington

Getting to a grade 4 and out the other side.

I teach teenagers working towards GCSE foundation, and adults resitting. I've never met an adult learner who wasn't quietly convinced they were the worst in the room.

I plan each session around whatever you're stuck on rather than working through a scheme from the front. Lessons are calm, with no pressure.

Daytime sessions

I have daytime slots as well as after school, which suits home-educating families and adults fitting a resit around work. Alternative Provision learners are welcome too.

About me

I've taught for over 25 years in schools across London and Cornwall, including Alternative Provision, and I've held leadership roles. Before my B.Ed in Mathematics (South Bank University, 1999) I part-qualified as an accountant, so I've used maths at work as well as taught it. I hold the NPQH, and I'm Enhanced DBS checked and fully insured.

Sessions

KS3 and GCSE foundation sessions are £40 an hour. Sessions are one-to-one, in person or online, with flexible daytime slots. There's a discount for sessions at my location or for regular block bookings.
